Before we let you attend Level 1 Tantra Events or Tantra
Classes, we guide you in a two-hour Orientation.
There are several variants of the orientation, depending on
whether you come to it alone, come as a pair, or come as a
moresome (triad, quatrad, pod). What you explore in the
orientation depends upon what interests you, what you seek in
exploring sacred sexuality. What you explore also depends upon
your prior experience with tantra as well as your experie nce
clearing with your rearers and the other significant others in
your life. The content of the interview also varies with your
emotional fitness and prior holotropic, pastlife or shamanic
exploratiosn. If you’re interested in polyamory, the content of
your orientation explores the reactions of your subpersonalities
and partners in multiperson loving.
ORIENTING INTERVIEW FOR INDIVIDUALS
We help you witness and center yourself as you activate each of
your energy centers (chakras). You give each energy
center–perineum, genitals, diaphagm, heart, throat, vision
center, crown--voice (Inner Child, Sexy Self, Hero, Lover,
Communicator, Visionary/Thinker, Spiritual Aspect,
respectively), find out what each wants and needs in terms of
your lovelife. You explore other subpersonalities that have an
interest in your lovelife–your Inner Critic, Pleaser,
Perfectionist, Artist, etc. so, from your Center you can
recognize, accept and coordinate all your voices from your
center. We give you homework to complete that will continue to
facilitate your growth and appreciation of the needs of each of
your subselves till you next see us for a tantra event or
advanced individual technique lessons.
ORIENTING INTERVIEW FOR PAIRS & MORESOMES
We begin by having you and your partner or partners hold hands,
look into each others’ left eyes till you feel your oneness with
each other, breathe in and out at the same time, then tell each
other what you’d like to get out of the session a) for yourself
as an ind ividual, b) for you as a couple, triad or group.
ACTIVE LISTENING: We then take you through experiences that help
you get what you want out from this interview. Some of the
variations we use for this are Active Listening, where you take
turns: you, the Speaker, talk while the other partner (s), the
Listener, paraphrases what you say, till you say, “correct.” The
listener asks if you have more to say and you continue to fully
express yourself while you make sure your partner, in his or her
own words, gets each of your ideas to your satisfaction. Then
your Listener summarizes your main thoughts, empathizes with
your emotions and asks if you have any behaviors–behaviors that
address the needs underlying what you want--to request. You say
what you want and why you want it, what need motivates your
wants. Your listener or listeners commit to whatever requests
she, he or they can an negotiate the requests that demand more
than they wish to give. They agree to behaviors in the direction
of meeting your needs. We give you homework to complete that
will continue to facilitate your growth and appreciation of the
needs of each of your subselves and those of your partner or
partners.
IMAGO PROCESS: When we have established that you and your lovers
in the orientation can listen actively–mirror, validate,
empathize with, make behavioral requests–we have you take turns
holding each other while you turn your relationship into a
healing crucible. The imago process teaches you=2 0to defuse
over-reactions to each other and to manage emotional reactions
based the past you don’t distance each other now based on what
happened before. You learn to release pent-up feelings and
rescript once-appropriate but now-limiting rules. You learn to
say what s/he wants without masking reactions. You request
healing behavios and affirm your new openness. We give you
homework to complete that will continue to facilitate your
relationships and advise you on which of our tantra, polyamory
or shamanic groups would best suit you.

MINGLES SUPPORT GROUPS:
When
we were in school there were no classes on dating. We learned the hard way,
through trial and error. Maybe you were too shy and rarely dated. Maybe
you never dated at all.
No matter where you are on the dating continuum, our support groups help you
recover from dating and relationship trauma. Our groups are fun and
supportive. Clear issues and old wounds and recognize and celebrate
your strengths and good points. Individuals bond, develop deep friendships,
clear negative energies and heal with the loving support of counselors and
peers.
MEN'S
CIRCLE: Sometimes
in our support groups men need to speak man to man. Men need to learn
from their elders and speak to their peers. Certain issues may arise
that need to be discussed among men. When necessary, the main support
group may break into separate circles consisting of only men and women in each
circle.
WOMEN'S
CIRCLE: Sometimes
there are things women want to discuss among themselves, alone and apart
from men. When necessary the larger support group may break into
smaller sections with only members of the same sex in order to discuss
delicate issues not suitable for both sexes.
Learn what it takes to create a
successful date. Mingles also serves as the dating class we never had
but sorely needed when we were
teenagers or young adults. At Mingles, you go on practice dates with other
students and use your dating surrogates to develop your dating skills.
You report back to class and get feedback. You gain confidence, learn from your
mistakes and discover how to get back on the horse and try again till
eventually, you clear all the cobwebs and pull in the divine beloved you
deserve. Yes, there may be tears and laughter, but you and your new
friends will all be in the same boat.
ANNUAL

Mingles is for singles only. All relationship
