What are chakras? 
Chakras are energy centers which you can visualize as tiny vortexes (spirals of energy) that have physiological correlations, located in areas of the body where the ganglia (groups of nerves) gather to exchange neurological impulses.  Chakras can contain blocks in energy, which may be spiritual, emotional and/or physical and reflect the distress of your lifetime.  These blocks can show you how you limit yourself and your potential for joy.  For some, damned up sexual energy and chakra blocks can create neurosis, psychosis and physiological illness.
